Listed for sale and sent a invoice from square trade agent that was representing her, sent a shipping confirmation that the Andrea thensen has a 1969 Corvette listed on Vettehound for sale. It lists for 6800.00. I contacted her and she sent me a reply that she was in Italy and the car would have to be shipped. She then sent a Square Trade Invoice that stated they were representing her and the payment was to be made throught them. Then she sent a Cargo confirmation that stated that she had already had the car at World Cargo Express and they contacted me with a shipment confirmation and a tracking number.. When I checked on the status of the car thru World Cargo Express it was in storage under our name pending shipment. I sent them 2800.00 through Western Union and now I realize that it was all a scam.. These invoices and shipping papers all look legit. Eva louisville, Kentucky U.S.A.

NEVER use Western Union to purchase anything!! Anyone who asks for Western Union is a scammer! PERIOD! If this was an Ebay sale, why not use PayPal? Why not overnight a cashiers check? AND, Always ask for the VIN# ! Then you can spend only $35 and know that the vehicle actually exists and verify its history and current whereabouts. AND, always ask for a copy of the current title be faxed to you front and back so you can see who actually owns it. These are all common sense things to do. Good luck getting your money back.
